A Few Totes

Here are some bags that I've done recently. I gave two of them as Christmas presents. The receivers seemed pretty happy with them. The first three were made with Sinfonia cotton yarn and the last one was made with Sugar and Cream cotton. They were fashioned after Inga's pattern. I didn't follow the directions for her squares and I made the handles in my own way, but I followed her directions for the construction of the bags. I hope you like them.

Great work on all the bags. I especially like the second one. Using a contrasting color to join the squares really makes the design "pop."

I was the same way, but once you do one you'll see how easy it is. There are a number of tutorials on the web, just google lining a bag or something similar and they will come up.

They are all beautiful, but I love the third one! The lining is just georgous... I want to make one of those bags but I'm afraid I'm not too good with a needle and thread. & the construction of the bag scares me. maybe I'll try it sometime.
