That afghan is so very pretty! It DOES look difficult or at least time consuming. I tend to pick afghans I can do on automatic because I don't like going from pattern to project and back & forth throughout. I sure do admire projects like this one when they are done though! Makes it tempting! The Tree of Life is one I might just have to bend my usual restraints for! You did a beautiful job on yours! I'm sure your mom is going to love it!
