I also made out good today. My aunt gave my Dad 5 or 6 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun in Prairie to give to me. She told him it was impossible to work with. I've made stuff with it before & it is so worth the fight. I love the color too.

 

Now don't you worry Julie I will not be using it yet.

 

We also went swimming in my Dad's pool. It was fun & we needed the fun, cool time together. Now we're back in the oven. Not too bad considering I guess but I broke a sweat while cooking dinner.

Donna, where do you live? Here in this part of NJ we get the humidity with the heat...the central air hasn't stopped churning (TG it's energy efficient)! My shepherds have cabin fever...except for a brief playtime very early this morning it's been out in the yard to do their business and that's it.

It's weird how me and Sam ever hooked up -- our personalites are EXACT opposite. Nothing about us is the same. He always says opposites attract, i guess that's why we have been married 30 years. No other explanation.

 

I prefer to think of it as complementing each other. Matching strengths and weaknesses.

Once many moons ago

There was a girl I used to know

 

She went on a trip to the Sunshine State

Got to the hotel, it wasn't real late

 

Weather was hot ,and so was she

The pool outside the door looked so cool, you see ....

 

Lots of people there enjoying the trip

So Julie decided to take a DIP

 

Only one problem with this , you see

She didn't have a swimsuit ( but did THAT stop ME ???)

 

I went in the room and got my skirt

Didn't really INTEND to be a FLIRT ......

 

Stepped out to take a dive

And those guys in the pool came ALIVE !!!

 

Here comes Julie with a twinkle in her eye

Without noticing all the GUYS ..........

 

She steps into the pool , you see

Her skirt floats to the top of the water and shows her PANTEES

 

She looks around : Hey ,where'd everybody go ?

She thought she'd be the center of the show ...

 

Well, in a way she was, only not like she thought

Everyone got out to grab their cameras to get a good shot .

 

She didn't stop to think you see

That under her skirt were her Tidy Whities .

 

She may as well went swimming NEKKID, I guess

Wearing underpants in a pool ,you may as well be UNDRESSED .

I was flipping channels tonight out of boredum and settled on the tvguide channel. They had a show called surreal life where I guess they have different celebrities live in a house and do tasks.

 

It's funny enough they have a porn star and Tammy Faye in there but they had to do a task that Gary Coleman was managing for the show. (he's not living in the house.)

 

He had to manage the bunch at a restaraunt and Vanilla Ice was messing with him picking him up and threatning to throw him in the deep fryer but the finall straw for ole Gary was when Todd Bridges showed up to eat there and Vanilla ice tried to get Gary to say "what cha talking about willis".

 

Gary got so mad and wouldn't do it he walked off the show in a huff. I thought boy Julie would get a big kick out of this. It was so funny.
