uses for Old eye glass cases

I like to carry my smaller projects around with me but I was having a problem keeping track of my hooks, so I got one of my old eye glass cases and that's what I carry my hooks in now along with needles and a small pair of scissors. Another lady I work with does the same thing now.

I use one of those hevy duty ones you get at walmart also When its closed , its closed , lol dont have to worry about losing any needles

I have been doing that for years I found that you can carry three bamboo handle hooks a pair of scissor's and when I am working on a project it is handy to carry with it. My Mom use to do that and learned from her. Thank you for sharing.

never thought of that !!!!! I use an old cigar "tube" for some hooks, and I have a plastic pencil case that I use too. All the extra hooks (because I cant part with them) goin a ziplock bag.

Great idea! I have one laying around, never have used them to put my glasses in. Good thing I'm a pack rat and never throw anything away. I always tell my DH I will find a use for it one day, one more thing to mark off my list of "what can I use that for?":lol

Heh, I have a zip up one that I use for my inhaler. When I started crocheting I started putting my hooks in there too~ That way I know I always have both with me~
