Letterman Jacket and Chuck Taylors

I haven't been on the board in a while - mostly because I was having a baby and preparing for his arrival. Anyhoo, everyone predicted that he would be small like his brother (5 lb. 15 oz.), but instead I got a giant baby this time (9 lb. 1.6 oz.). So, I was lucky that we had a cool day today so that he could wear this once.

I modified this pattern: http://bellabambinaknits.blogspot.com/2008/03/cardigan-for-babies.html for the sweater/jacket. The bootie pattern is one that I downloaded some time ago and the link is no longer active. I'm pretty sure that there are other sneaker patterns out there though.
