Pink Pig Package - Oink, oink, oink!

Hello!

I found this mug in Kohl's - and had an idea. A good high school friend of mine used to collect pigs. She married a guy who collected firefighter stuff. Well, he made her get rid of her pigs. Prophetic in itself. When their daughter was 6 or 7, he decided that his rescue folks were more important than his wife.

 

So, I saw this mug and bought it for my friend. Then I thought, I should make something to go with. So I looked online and found a pig potholder pattern. I made my scrubbie, then did a knit pig dishcloth (it's very subtle). Since Mother's Day's next week, I thought I'd send all of these to her for Mother's Day....

 

So, what do ya'll think??

Good for you to get her collection going again. My ex made me get rid of my troll collection but I got rid of him and have more trolls than ever. I have lots of 'pigs' too and the ones you made here are really cute. I could 'see' the pig better when I went to your blog and he is really, really cute.
