Pink Pig Package - Oink, oink, oink!

Hello!

I found this mug in Kohl's - and had an idea. A good high school friend of mine used to collect pigs. She married a guy who collected firefighter stuff. Well, he made her get rid of her pigs. Prophetic in itself. When their daughter was 6 or 7, he decided that his rescue folks were more important than his wife.

So, I saw this mug and bought it for my friend. Then I thought, I should make something to go with. So I looked online and found a pig potholder pattern. I made my scrubbie, then did a knit pig dishcloth (it's very subtle). Since Mother's Day's next week, I thought I'd send all of these to her for Mother's Day....

So, what do ya'll think??

:cheer Good for you to get her collection going again. My ex made me get rid of my troll collection but I got rid of him and have more trolls than ever. :devil I have lots of 'pigs' too and the ones you made here are really cute. I could 'see' the pig better when I went to your blog and he is really, really cute. You're going to bring a big smile to your friend's face. :yes
