Toddler Halter Top

crosette

Recommended Posts

I made this halter top for my niece (who else? :P). I used the Toddler Halter Top pattern I got from Craftster and Red Heart Super Saver in Medium Purple.

I had her try it on and it turned out to be a bit short so I added some beaded fringe and I also put some beads on the ends of the ties. Btw, the beads come off pretty easily w/ a firm tug (and she's a kid so you know they'll be tugged on). Anyone know what I should do to keep 'em on?

My mom sewed the fabric on to the boobie triangles by hand. The fabric is just a pink (couldn't find purple) kerchief.

Edited to add: I know the fringe doesn't look even...but it is....really. :)

Thanks for sharing the site to the pattern! :D It's so cute! What I do with fringe is to string on beads first before crocheting them so a toddler won't be able to remove the beads. I hope this helps somewhat. :)

Great job, I love it! And thanks for sharing the pattern link. I've been looking for something like that for a while now.
