Star Afghan Finished!!

Recommended Posts

:elle :elle I am dancing up and down with joy today! At about 2 am in the morning (even knowing I had to be up at 7) I let out a big hurrah and snipped off the end of my last thread on my Star afghan! I was jumping up and down - don't think that the cat appreciated how happy I was to be finished!!

Wow, Kimberly - what a beautiful and unique afghan. I love it. :manyheart I went to your blog to see the slide show - what a lot of work (especially the sewing - which is not my favorite thing to do) - the end result is wonderful. Congratulations on finishing!:cheer You've inspired me to buy the pattern book - but, maybe I should get it as a reward for actually finishing one of the afghans I'm working on now...:blush. Thanks for sharing it!!

Wow, what an eye-opener first thing in the morning :yay

I might have to look that one up for a future project myself, like I really need any more future projects :wink

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I really did have a lot of fun working on this afghan, even with all of the tiny squares!

For those interested in the pattern book, I really suggest it - it has tons of gorgeous afghans in the book for both knitting and crocheting, although I think from the top of my head that there are more crochet afghans than knit - :yay
