Green leaves

I loved this pattern because it looked like leaves (a favorite motif of mine), and that's why I did it in dark green. It's not a Christmas doily exactly, but will look nice this time of year.

 

It took me a loooooong time to finish it, because every one of the 16 points has to be finished off individually, which is tedious. It's about 15 inches from point to point, made with size 10 thread and a 1.4mm hook.

Green was the perfect choice. All the individual point add so much more interest, it was worth the tediousness.
