Giant Pineapple

I crocheted this for a Christmas exchange in an MSN group I am a member of. Size 10 thread in ecru, and the variegated tinsely color there, which my husband picked for me. I have no idea what that one is called. Anyway, the doily measures about 12" in length. it was quite simple to make, and went along pretty fast too. I want to make more of these soon!

Your pineapple doily is so pretty! I have been crocheting since the late '70s and have not yet made a pineapple. I will be trying that design after the holidays.

I found this pattern way back, when I also found the seahorse pattern,,,,same site. Last week, I went back to the site, looking for the seahorse so I could share the link, and could not find the seahorse at all. I didnt see this there either, but I still go back and try searching.
