Same doily pattern - 2 versions

I really enjoyed making this doily, even with all the picots, but decided to see what it would look like without them, so here are both versions. #10 thread, #7 hook

They're both gorgeous, I also like the one without picots because I don't like doing picots myself! I do think it makes the design more open and the pineapples stand out a bit more.

 

That being said, the picot version is also lovely

They're both beautiful! It's very intereting how different it looks just by taking away the picots. I don't know if I would have had the patience to make it once let alone twice. Me and pineapples don't get along.

Love the doily Good job. I have one similar I am doing . I need to get back to it. I am extending the pineapples ; because my round table is bigger.

The one without the picots seems to help define the spokes and pineapplies a little better. Think I like the one without the picots best. Beautiful, beautiful work!!!

I love these doilies. I hate making picots, so I like the one without better. Both are beautiful though.
