:cheerIm so excited nov issue of crochet ! come in today with my 60's bag and belt pattern in it .:yay it looked better then i thought it would.i wasn,t to sure about it

i got the idea one day listen to John lennons song "give peace a chance"

i still get all excited like a lil kid lol but also a little sad with this one cause my mom wasnt here to share in my excitment

lost her 2 weeks ago oh my sorry this is a happy day

hope every one is enjoying there day

Congratulations on your pattern. I also recently lost my mother. Her 80th birthday was August 8, 2006 and we lost her three days later on the 11th. I am sure she would be pleased with your pattern being published.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, Dee. My grandmother wasn't able to see my first publication and she's the one I would have really loved to have shown it to since she first taught me to crochet. But, I just have to have faith that she somehow "knows" and I'm sure your mother was very proud of you for your accomplishments! Just sending in the pattern can be intimidating, but you did it! Great job! And, I can't wait to take a peek at it! :)
