Newbie in Ontario, Canada

I've just joined (can't believe with all the surfing I do, I hadn't found this before now!).

I love to crochet and usually have more than a couple of projects on the go (especially now at Christmas!). Just finished an asymetrical jacket from Simple Crochet magazine (published by BHG) in a bright fushia trimmed in silver/black 'Brilliant' yarn. And I'm wrapping up a afghan for a girlfriend in Lionbrand Chenille Thick & Quick in beige and chocolate (really want to keep it for myself but...). When the holidays pass I have to finish a stroller blanket for my sister-in-law's March baby!

Really looking to design my own stuff; love the look of Teva Durham's stuff (especially her new Pirate's Jacket!!!). Also like Lily Chin.

I'll try to start taking pics of my finished projects to post here.
