UPDATE:

Moose and Dan are doing better today. Moose is eating his rice and chicken. Dan just the chicken. He picks out the chicken from Rice. Both drinking wonderful.

Yes, mine all get along.. Yes my yard is actually really neat.. I have no piles of anything in my yard. It's so easy to keep the grass cut. I keep it dog proof and go out and clean it several times a day.

I have a friend whose husband is in the Marines and stationed at Camp Legeune (sp?) towards Jacksonville, NC, and she shared a picture on facebook yesterday of a store she went to, she said all she went in for was 3 gallon jugs of water, and the shelves were pretty much EMPTY except for some single 16.9 oz bottles!

Glad they are feeling better! I have a dog that will only eat certain colors of her food! Lol. So picky!

I spent yesterday at Urgent Care with my oldest. She has some pretty serious abdominal pain. They decided it wasn't appendix by the blood work, and called it an abdominal migraine. We have an appointment on Thursday with the pediatrician and we're going to get to the bottom of this and figure out a way to help the poor girl.

I hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon! I have never heard of an abdominal migraine. Good luck Thursday!

Good Morning Everyone.

Glad to hear the fur babies are doing better.  We had a dog who would eat beef stew, but leave every pea in his bowl.  Not a drop of gravy on the peas, and not a one broken.  Could never figure out how he did that.

Holly, I do hope you find out what is wrong with the little one and you can fix it soon.

We have to find a new insurance (Thank you Obama Care), as the plan we have been using, will not be available next year.  We have to find one that has most of our Dr.'s, especially the heart Dr.'s.  We have been working on this for about a week now, well Tampa Guy has been.  It is very frustrating.  It looks like we are going to have to change not only plans, but Insurance companies.  The heart specialist are leaving the company we were using.  I don't know how people do this all the time.  Sorry, did not mean to go off on a tangent.

Carol, I heard on the news this morning that they are evacuating some of the hospitals in Miami.  Please be careful and make sure you are safe.  I know, you are more use to hurricanes then we are, but it only takes one.  We are out of the cone, unless it jogs to the west.  Be safe everyone on the east coast, it may be down to a Cat3, but it could change.

Well off to make some granny squares and who knows what else.

Have a fun day and big hugs.

Looks like we will be out of the cone too if it tracks east some more! Yes Carol, please be safe...

sandra, glad to hear the furs are doing better... I love this weather too...getting ready to go out and check the birdfeeders

Holly, I have never heard of an abdominal migraine... sure hope you find out soon what is going on and she feels better

MJ, don't get me started about insurance... between ours and my moms its a mess.... she has aetna as a supplemental which is good... but not with the docs that service her memory care ... but she has to have Aetna because that is who Ohio state teacher retirement has...  head spinning yet??/

 Katy hope all goes well...

Tribble, I thought of you yesterday... I saw a sign with Kirk surrounded by Tribbles and it said... " Yesterday, all my tribbles seemed so far away".... :lol

Linda... if you need to come inland then we are only a couple hours away ... you know you, me and sandra need a girls day....

Hugs!

Hey have no fear above Florida.

The weather just said it will move up to Georgia, make a loop and come back across the state.  Man this sucks for the pan handle.  Lets hope it stays inland and does not go into the Gulf with that warm water.

That is my trouble with the insurance.  Medicare supplement is the problem.  Blue Cross and Blue Shield has decided to drop one plan and make another, that will cost us more and our Dr.'s dropped out of.  Every time some one just mentions the word insurance my head spins.

Off to work on my squares.

I have so much on my plate that I haven't really even thought about the storm. I guess I never have and no sense in starting now.

Moose took a turn again and back to throwing up. Went and got him naseau pills, pedialyte, and some canned dog food that will be light on him tummy. The chicken, rice bland diet. Let's see if that works if not unfortunately a trip to the vet will go.

Hello everyone.

Late check in today. The hospital called my daughter and asked if she could go in to work for a few hours so I had the baby from the time I got home from work until about 40 minutes ago. The windows are all covered, the gas tanks are filled and water bottles are in the closet and of course I have flashlights handy. Now it's just wait for hurricane Matthew. I'm hoping it stays off the coast so we don't have a direct hit. Now they are talking about the storm doing a loop into the atlantic ocean and possibly coming back at us, I don't like this storm!

Holly, I hope your daughter is feeling better.

I need some sleep. Hopefully I will be able to check in tomorrow.

Good Morning!

I'm still here.

I just saw that Mary Jo's area is now under a tropical storm watch. And it looks like watches up the east coast have expanded and become more intense. So my stress release right now is my sewing room as long as we have power then it will change to my sofa and crocheting.

Stay safe everyone and I'll check in later.

Be careful.  I was just watching the Governor on the TV.  He is telling everyone to get out.  Not to wait till the last minute.  They have shelters opening and he just called up another 1,000 National Guard.  They are filling Gas Stations as fast as they are being emptied.

So sorry to hear bout your Mom Lea.  Big hugs to you.

Welcome to our new member.

I am off to the allergist this morning.

Please everyone on the East Coast Listen to Governor Scott and do what he says.  You can replace things, but not people.

Big :ghug  to all and we will be :ebay the storm :2rain . carefully.

Wow people this is scarey for you all. I would have evacuated At the first call. That is a dangerous storm just wicked,, we are now in severe storm warnings but seems so minor compared to the hurricane. There showing people still on the beach behind the weather announcer sheesh people you know!!

Yeah I would be watching it too. Very close as well. I will be and I live landlocked. . My sincere hopes and prayers are with all In its path

So sorry Lea hope all goes well and she is ok.

MY front flower bed came back strong from the tree felling experience but now they look way better and they had been almost trampled flat. trampled right after as trees branches crushed them but they are back and enjoying the showers albeit I'm chilly out and rather heavily raining at the moment and the warning has just updated fo severe storms sgain extending the time.

They are such hearty little flowers and will still bloom till the first real heavy frost and at the first freeze they will die out. But we enjoy their colors and their perky-ness for a long time each year.

HAndy grew them from seeds!! We have a skylight in the sheds roof so he started them in there way early season.

And we are still pulling off a few Tomatos every day. We only have one pepper plant still producing now though. BUt our neighbor gives us some of his as his are still producing well.

I froze some Tomatos too that are in the freezer it was easy I looked up how to do it. Easy peasy now we have several zip lock bags in the freezer. I slice or dice them when needed like tonight for tacos lol.

I have been cleaning up my jar of scrap balls and working them into squares. They remind meof of fall with these colors lol. I have already worked 7 squares off them and reclaimed at least 8 rubber bands lol. Here's a pic.post-40621-0-13547200-1475776819_thumb.jpg

So my goals today are try to finish up the remaining smaller of thr small balls from thr jar and stay dry and hold the fort down.

THis is the kind of weather my doggie Ginger would never even want to go out and until we thought she better or she would burst she wouldn't lol Nd then usually she would then go on the deck close to the house and come right back I. She hated to be wet and with all that fur I can see why. All collies and like sled dogs and stuff have two or three layers of their coats Ginger had her long silky layer and at least two downy like coats under that layer and she was very hard to dry and or groom.it really did take go h of us to groom and she hated th sound of that shaver thing too. She loved snow though!!

Well ladies all for now I guess see you all here later and. Be safe?!

Hello again.

Katie, those are very pretty squares.

Some areas have already lost power and we probably will too at some time before this is all over. We've had some rain and wind but nothing really bad yet. The news keeps saying it's going to get worse tonight.

I'll send updates when I can.
