Filet Spider Curtain

Yahoo! I finished my first curtain!

 

Since my cats love to play "Tarzan" with curtains my mum will get it...

 

Yarn: Anchor Aida, Strength 5, Ecru

Since I made some breaks due to yarn shortage that's difficult to tell. I guess I started the curtain 10-12 weeks ago, but I did other projects beside.

 

Think thats important doing larger objects, so a piece never gets boring

The spider is part of the pattern (-> the squares where the meshes are replaced by simple chains that get connected in the center are called that way)

Oh my. Beautiful! I wish I were better at working with thread, for that is just lovely! I'd love to have some for my dining area. They'd be so handsome surrounded by the dark panelling.
