  1. I am looking for a princess dress pattern in crochet for a toddler, about a 4t or 5t size. I want something with poofy cap sleeves, but I can modify it if someone finds one pretty enough. Any ideas ladies???? Thanks for the help!!!!
  2. I think I fixed the link in the original, but here is it again: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/upcycledyarns/upcycled-yarn?ref=nav_search
  3. I started a kickstarter! For those of you who do not know what that is, it is a fundraising place for people who would like to start selling things. (From ideas to actual products.) Well I "UpCycle" my yarn sometimes. I will buy old factory knitted sweaters, or old projects, blankets, etc from thrift stores and essentially frog them. (I love that I could say that on here, and you will all know what I mean. Can't do that when describing what I do on kickstarter.) Well as I was sitting here winding a ball from a beautiful old wool knit sweater, My husband asks me if people would buy the yarn. I tell him "I suppose, but this is going to be an infinity scarf next month." Eventually I got to thinking about it, and this would be a clever little way to turn my hobby into something profitable for me and the kids. (My little girls LOVE to help. They are still 4 and 2, so doing stuff with Mom is still fun to them.) Anyways, I wanted to post the link to you all and ask for some critiques, opinions, support...Whatever you think. I would love to have someone to talk to through it, since my husband has very little interest in my yarn hobbies. so here is the website: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/upcycledyarns/upcycled-yarn?ref=nav_search Thanks ladies!!!!
  4. here are the hat and booties from the pattern! Unfortunately, varigated yarn does not show off the FPDC's well, but they are still beautiful!
  5. I love your skull hoodies!!! I am making one in blue and white for my daughters for this Halloween. It's in my started pile already!!! (Trying to make one of the adult one smallers, have you done a pattern for a toddler? She wears 3t )
  6. Thanks~ It is calming to be back in my chair with my hooks. You lose some of your stress when you crochet.

  8. Hey everyone! I see so many changes in the Ville... It's been a few years since I have been here (Had to change my signature from Mom of 3 to mom of 5) . I have just started crocheting again, but unfortunately when my husband and I fell on some hard times I lost everything we had in our storage unit. Which of course was a lot of my crafting things. (Including my old singer, will never get over that loss). But I bought a G, F, and H hook and some yarn, and got back to work recently! So of course, the 'Ville was a must stop on the path. Hope everyone is well, and cannot wait to get back into the forums.
  9. I have made myslef a diaber bag, I made it out of caron yarn, doubled up the strands, and used an h hook, and scs. Made the strap and the gusset in different colors, and crocheted little pockets and sewed them on. I lined it with a pink fabric (I was having a girl) with more little extra bockets all around. It was the best, most usable thing I ever made myself. It was thick, sturdy, and held A TON of things. Whens bottles or something leaked, i just tossed it in the washer. Its a wonderfull Idea, and if you made something pretty Im sure people would be interested. I hated traditional diaper bags. (I have since just upgraded to crochetd totes, cause with 4 kids I carry so much stuff on the go)
  10. I know!!!! i my babies every chance they let me. The boys are not into letting me so much anymore, but hey, I sneak them in still. My 7 year old has been telling daddy about his "girlfriend" in class, but wont tell me at all!!! Its a secret I guess
  11. Thank you everybody!!! My older daughter Rose, keeps trying to put hers back on
