As promised, here is a picture of the beautiful square I received from Karishema, aka Mary- thank you, thank you, thank you!!! (sorry forgot to take a pic of the cute little angel pin which is upstairs on my dresser)

I've taken a picture of my blanket that I bordered in black and the second picture is the squares that I need to border and attach. Looks like I need three more to complete a row and then it will be done!!

You are quite welcome, your ghan is beautiful.

How exciting to be so close! I can't wait to start receiving squares myself.

Me too, I can't wait to get more squares, it is all so exciting, waiting for the mail each day. I need something to keep me going. I just read the post that asked how old you are. I was second to the oldest!! :eek

Now I'm depressed.:lol

Aw, gee, thanks!!

I don't have any grey, black or white cotton, but I do have grey cotton-ease- would that work for a square for you?

Mary, not old, just experienced. :U And if you are as old as you feel, then most days I am 116 so I beat you. :hug

Hi everyone. Hope you all are having a fun safe weekend. I'm making a mini blanket using the "that turtle square" pattern. I'll have to post pics of all my turtles before I put the square part around them. They are so cute. It's like a sea of turtles :)

Where is that post? I'm curious to know how young some of the other "hookers" are on this forum. I don't know anyone my age that crochets! (I'm 28)

:hug to you, Susan.

Cookies? Those look delish! Almost makes me want to bake some too but my kitchen is a wreck right now. I can't seem to pry myself away from my crocheting long enough to do anything but look on here for eye candy. I even put off those chores I mentioned earlier :oops to post the pattern I promised you ladies...

What size are most of you making your afghans?

I'm using 12 inch squares and mine is going to be 4 rows across by 5 rows down for a total of (20) 12 inch squares- didn't measure it though, but seems to be a good size for me:manyheart
