Christmas Gifts

It's been a while since I've been on-line doing anything. I've been kind of busy with Xmas Gifts. Below are several scarves that I've made for gifts. All that patterns I've gotten on-line mostly through Lion Brand except for one, which I can not remember where I got, but on-line, and it's called "Crochet...An Inspred Lace Scarf". It called for tassels but I did not put them on. I still have one more of the Ribbed Scarves to make for the Chief. One of the black ones is going to a Detective and a Sergeant where I work and the other brown one to one of the other Detectives.:crocheting

Hi Jeannie1205:

Most of the items I crocheted were off of the Lions Brand Web Site. I really like alot of their items. What's better is they were free. All of the things I crocheted were free patters except for the small Pleated purses. Below is the link to the pattern for the first Scarf.

Just a note when crochetiing it, When you go to do the outer edging, make sure you're on the correct side. The first one I made came out backwards. Just be careful and make sure your stitching is on the front side. I used a multi-colored yarn to make the scarf. I thought it came out pretty neat with different colors on each row. It didn't take me very long to make it, I think I did it in about 4 hours or so. It flows pretty quickly.:hook If I remember correctly, it only took one skein of Oncor yarn. That's what I used. Good luck and enjoy!

Hi Bev! (Breeze530)

Below is the link to for the purse. It was gotten off of the Lions Brand Web Site of Free Patterns. It didn't call for it but I also lined the purse and I sewed in the large magnetic clasps inside to help keep it shut to help prevent/deter any wondering hands (if you know what I mean). My niece really loves it.
