My NEW toddler outfit!

Yarn Angel

Recommended Posts

As many of you know, I made toddler pants awhile back for my two year old. I found a top to go with it finally and I liked it so much, I decided to frog the pants and make new ones to go with it. The old ones didn't stay up anyway. For the top I used this pattern. For the pants I used Bernat's Little Boy Blue but I changed the stitches to match the top. These pants have crocheted pattern pieces that are sewn together and the waistband has a casing with elastic. I definitely outdid myself on this one! The outfit is made with Cottontots yarn in white and light blue.

He is much happier with the new pair! To view photos close up you can go to http://flickr.com/photos/32415174@N00/sets/326432/

Beware of rogue characters in this post, my son (5mo.) is on my lap and t rying to type.

I've been wanting to make a vest just like that for my son--I started knitting one, but it takes *forever!* I think I'll frog it and use the yarn to crochet this one.

Yeah!

Great job--I did like the old pants too, by the way, what pattern was that?
