I finished up this star blanket using Beth's Little Star Afghan pattern (here) tonight. This is for my cousin who is having a baby girl in July.

 

 

I used Bernat Cotton Tots in Strawberry and .... matching variegated (forgot name).

 

This little girl will be the fifth girl in a row born in our family. My grandma bought a quilt for a baby boy when I was pregnant with my five-year old and she's waiting very impatiently for a boy to show up.

Turned out great..and I really like the brighter color...I've used that pattern before for baby shower gifts..it really is a good pattern.

Very cute! I love that Cotton Tots, I almost bought Strawberry to make Chelle's bathing suit cover-up, but got "Very Berry" I think (variegated pinks/purples). Nice job!

Thanks all! I looked this morning - it is Very Berry.

 

It's going in the mail tomorrow. Her baby shower is next weekend with the family. She's in California and my Aunt is flying her home before she gets too miserable to travel.
