Blushing Becca with a Twist (fairy by KristieMN)

I bought KristieMN's fairy patterns before xmas 06 with the intention of making them for the girls in my life as presents. That never happened! Time ran away from me. I made this one over the weekend. It didn't take very long at all!

 

Whole fairy crocheted with 1.75mm hook. Her body is made from size 10 Aunt Lydias in white, her dress from size 10 South Maid. Her wings are white size 10 cotton and a single strand of embroidery floss crocheted together to create a pale pink. The bow laced through her dress is 6 strands of embroidery floss, her eyes french knots using brown Aunt Lydias size 10, her mouth DMC Babylo. This is my first time using real doll hair and I made a total mess of it!!!

 

I added a scallop to the hem of the dress which wasn't part of Kristen's original Blushing Becca pattern, and omitted the panties and shoes. All up she is just over 3" tall.
