I just did this up this morning. Well what else is there to do when you are getting snowed in .... I got the pattern from a 1988 Just Crochet Book I have...

I have that pattern. I just got it and I was going to make it but I have to finish a blanket for a baby shower. Did you use Red Heart Yarn or Sugar n Cream yarn?

Not sure what yarn it is as I used some yarn I had in my stash with no labels but I know its baby yarn... What I like about this pattern is it looks the same on both sides. The book has a whole set to do in the heart weave, coasters, hot pads, place mats and center piece all in different sizes....As soon as I know what Color my new kitchen will be I am making the whole set

Not sure if it is okay to ask this or not.... But do you crochet long strips then weave them and crochet around the outside? Or is it all done at once?

 

I have a paper heart pattern like that, and that's how that works...
