Beige Shawl

[Miss USA]

This is my most favorite shawl I made. I made this spur of the moment to match an outfit for the next day- and I bought cheapo red heart yarn and stayed up all night to finish it. (was tying on fringe right before the event) It is from an old volume of pattern books my grandmother passed down to me called "Make It Yourself" published in 1973. I used a size E hook.

It is in volume 17. The pattern is called "For Cool Evening Breezes"

After a few washes, the yarn is now nice and soft, and drapes perfectly. (I will never forget how bad my hand hurt the next day)
