Another Dot's Elegant Stole in Microspun

Here is my finished stole made from Dot's Elegant Stole pattern-thank you Dot! I used Microspun yarn instead of the worsted weight, so I had to modify the pattern a bit, and there were alot more rows!! To be honest with you, I lost track of how many rows there are!! But I think it came out pretty! The color is actually periwinkle, but looks blue in the pics attached. My beautiful sister in law is posing for the pics!

Pretty color and it turned out lovely. I like the stitch pattern you used on it.. And the stitch pattern looks different depending on the angle in the picture. That stitch pattern would be pretty on a shrug also... hmmmm:think

It is very pretty. I like Dot's patterns. I also like your lavendar colored bushes. Where are you at that you have pretty flowers?

Sondra,

I live in Federal Way, WA. I am about 25 miles south of Seattle. It is very pretty up here!

Beautiful Stole. I love the color too. I may just have to make this pattern for the stole swap. (depending on what my partner requests...)

I am signed up for the swap as well. I may make another one myself. I really love how it turned out, especially with the Microspun. It is soooo soft and stretchy. It was a fun pattern to do!

That is gorgeous! I may have to do one of these in Microspun now. I love their Turquoise color, maybe I'll get some and use it for this. :devil

Dot is the best, especially for shrug and stole patterns! I love the ways yours turned out! So cool to see how everyones ends up looking with all the different materials everyone uses.

Very, very pretty! :clap How many balls of microspun did you use?

I used almost 5 skeins. It ended up to be 22 x 60 inches after I blocked it. You could make it a little narrower and probably get away with 4 skeins, if you want to.

Thanks everyone for your kind words!
