Prayer Shawl

This is the my first large project finish! The pattern is from the Lionbrand book "The Prayer Shawl Ministry" and it is made with Homespun in Olive. I was surprised at how quickly it came together, especially considering that I have only been crocheting for a few months and this is my first "non-ripple-afghan" project. I started it on Saturday evening, worked on it off and on on Sunday and finished it Monday evening. I'm sure a more experienced crocheter could have done it even quicker. I made it for a friend's mother who has been diagnosed with advanced stage bone cancer. Thanks for looking!

It turned out very nice sure it will be a blessing to the one it is for. I like the boarder also it really finishes it off nice. I think it is wonderful to do prayer shawls for those who are going through a hard time.
