Tried this one on the rag doll and it was a pretty good fit so at some point I'm coming back to this one for the rag doll as well.

Trying to get some rotation going through the dolls to make sure they all leave with some clothing.

I started out the donation year wanting to send each doll off with a swimsuit and with other things that got dropped for a bit but with summer ending the project is back on board.

Still rotating through the dolls.  This week I'm actually going back to some of the Barbie stuff to return her line into the rotation along with the baby dolls.

Baby Doll Sundress Green

I send two of the 16 inch baby dolls with the donation each year so I end up repeating patterns.  I usually try not to repeat colors and change up a few things just to keep stuff interesting.

That outfit is really cute.  That is why I make other dolls to send up.  A change of pace.  I think they might also like a change in dolls. for younger kids.

I am grateful to you Tampa Doll because you really challenged me to get over my fear of crochet thread which has really paid off with the smaller dolls.

You are welcome and like I have said many times, work you way down to thread.  Start with WW, then Sports or DK then down to lace, then finally thread.  Makes it so much easier.

Hi friends. So I took a trip to WI for my cousin’s wedding. It was cut short (long story), but I had a blast for the time I was there. Our hotel in downtown Sheboygan was coincidentally only a few blocks from the Lost Sheep yarn shop. I bought some yarn on Friday, and….returned to buy more on Saturday and at that point I had earned a $10 credit….so….I might have bought one more skein! Oops. 
I made the hat in the picture on my flight to WI. I noticed the shop had a basket where you could donate hats for kids in school who don’t have one. So I took this one in on Saturday and made another one on the way home Sunday. Crocheting on the plane makes the time fly by. (No pun intended, but I will leave it!)

The weekend was great and I got to see so many relatives that I really miss!

PS, Tampa Doll, titrating down to smaller and smaller yarn size is a great idea. I’ve never thought of that. I got some beautiful sock yarn on my trip and have always wanted to make a sock yarn beanie. I will give your method a try.

How great to find a yarn shop while on vacation.  The hat was beautiful.

Still working on the small dolls for now so they leave dressed.  This adapted a dress pattern into a summer outfit.  I hope to get back to the dress but it just kept wanting to be play clothes.

Brenda, you have been busy. I was trying to “like” your posts but cannot for some reason. I love the springtime outfit. The purse and shoes are great! 
Last night I finished this guy. I guess that the drawback of using Dollar Tree stuffies is that they are not well made. This guy’s nose was trying to fall off. I tied it off and need to bury the ends.

First the blankets are stunning.  I love the colors. 

The doll outfits are simply amazing.  Those dolls are ready for the runway.

Lots to Love 10" Bathing Suit

It seems only fitting that I started these bathing suits in winter and I still haven't finished them in summer.  However, since the only important date is in November there is time.

Hi Cindy, the pattern isn’t anything really. I just dc until I feel like I want to fpbp for warmth around the ears. I started the fpbp a little early on that one but it’s ok. It will be warm.
