Acorns in a Basket

Recommended Posts

I ordered this kit from Mary Maxim. http://www.marymaxim.com/crochet-acorns-basket-kit.html

It was backordered, but it finally came in.  I added the googlie eyes.  Dh loves googlie eyes.

The acorns are made with scrubby yarn and filled with tulle.  The basket is both scrubby and regular yarn.

It could be made with just regular yarn if you did not want to use the scrubby.

Oh my gosh it's adorable!!! But, you really shouldn't put all your acorns in one basket you know!  :lol  (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Boy do I.  Now I have that stupid song stuck in my head. :rofl

Thank you all.  It took two days to make them, but they are cute.

Great theme to go along with Fall and Halloween. You make such innovative decorations and love your take on the peek-a-boo eyes. Cuuuute!
