  7. I want to make a pretty, but easy afghan for a friend to surprise her with. I got pink and gray I love this yarn and at first I was going to crochenit, but now I think I would rather make one crochet, holding 2 strands together. The only thing I really don't want to do is chevron. Any suggestions?
  8. Trying to make a little basket and face scrubbies and get it shipped asap for my sister's bday, but I have no idea what she is talking about in rounds 6 and 7, about the 'third loops' Round 5 ch 1, hdc into base of ch-1 and next 2 sts, 2 hdc into next st, (hdc into next 3 sts, 2 hdc into next st) around, join with sl st (40) Round 6 ch 1, hdc into base of ch-1 and next 3 sts, 2 hdc into next st, (hdc into next 4 sts, 2 hdc into next st) around, join with sl st into top AND third loop of first hdc (48) Round 7 ch 1, working into top AND third loops of each hdc, sc into base of ch-1 and next 3 sts, sc-dec over next 2 sts, (sc into next 4 sts, sc-dec over next 2 sts) around, join with sl st (40) *note: the un-worked bottom of loop of each hdc makes for a nice ridge along bowl edge https://edythblayn.com/3-face-scrubbies-and-a-bowl/ here is a link to the free pattern. Help!

What a pain, what a pain, oh my gosh I'm soooooo glad this is finally done!!! Going to Ga to my son's best friend who asked me to make him one. I am pretty happy with how it turned out though.

  19. It's great! Love hearing your childhood memories too. First day for school for us here in our rv is tomorrow too!
  20. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/insomnia-2 Ok, so this is not crochet, it is knit. But some things are just so remarkable they have to be shared irregardless. This is one of those things!
  21. Baby dresses sell well for the cost of making them. Usually you can make one with 1-2 skeins and a few days work. Crochetgarden.com has the most beautiful ones I have ever seen or made, I sold them for around 20.00 a piece. Good luck!
