I am so happy to have found this group. I have crocheted for over 30 years. I call it my therapy <smile> I do make and donate hats to the drive at the University where I work. My passion is making shawls and wraps. I amworking on a black pineapple shawl at present and just finished a LB trellis shawl for a gal for homecoming. I try to just do the things I like to make. No more taking orders etc.

I have lived in Iowa all my life. I have a 13 yr old daughter and a wonderful husband. We have been married 27 years.

welcome, i am interested in starting a shawl. i have the yarn but am open to any helpful hints you may have

 

i stated on this post before that when i crochette i think i am starting off loose but as i continue and have a few rows done, my first row (the chain row) becomes so tight that it throws off the entire layout of the project. i am thinking i am going to ask my girlfriend to start my shawl.
