Pineapple Square small tablecloth

This is from an old pattern that can be found on the internet "Pineapple Square Doily", but I made it to the size of a small tablecloth.  I had 6 balls of #20 Cebelia and I made this until I literally ran out of the dye lot.  I had to finish off the last two pineapples in a different lot, but I'll be darned if I can even find the different ones now.  This was lots of fun to do, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it!  I may give it to my dear friend or else my DIL, but Lord knows her house if full of my crochet.  Hummmm...............

OMG that is so beautiful.  If you have daughter, I would use it to dress up my table, then give it to the daughter to be passed down.

Yes, just gorgeous, I appreciate how much work goes in to thread crochet, especially using 20 thread.

 

You know, pieces like this never really go out of fashion, in that they can be carefully put away for a while, then brought out again to enjoy, as popularity dictates.

This is how beautiful works like this become heirlooms, they are classy and timeless, always appreciated.
