Crowded Roses Pillow

Just finished this pillow, pattern adapted from this one at Drops Design: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/124-6-cushion-cover-with-crochet-flowers-in-eskimo (I've posted the ravelry link, becase I couldn't get to Drops this morning). Instead of Eskimo, I used Loops & Threads Impeccable, color Heather. And, I crocheted the entire pillow instead of knitting the backing portions. The second photo shows the roses before squishing them together by sewing.

You're so right! I have seen a purse in a store covered with flowers that color -- with a brown wooden handle. Very cool.

Thanks, everybody. A part of me thinks the roses looked better before they were squeezed onto a pillow! They were fun and easy to crochet, but not to assemble.

I like your teeny tiny flowers. After a friend was dismayed to find little gaps in the scarf she was knitting, I made a bunch of them for her to cover them up.
