oh please have them keep the neon and parachute pants in the 80s where they belong :scared

I know, right?!

Those are exactly what i saw with the mesh tops and big belts and leg warmers at Wet Seal when I was there with my daughters a couple of weeks ago... I started having flashbacks :rofl

...if only the "big hair" came back with it... I'd be all set! :lol:wink

...why is it when fashion decides to relive a decade, it's all the weird stuff that comes back?!

I'll get my Cyndi Lauper cassettes and put new batteries in my Walkman!

"Girls just wanna have fun..."

Anyone have any patterns for leg warmers and headbands?

:rofl :rofl :rofl

ha ha ha...

... oh, wait, should we be telling people that we have Walkmans and cassettes?!

You are TOO funny!

thanks for the laugh, it hit the spot! :yes

My sister jokingly asked me to make a pair of leg warmers for her and i firmly told her no. Seriously, some of the "fashion" trends happening right now are so.. scary. The weirdest thing I've seen lately is: a skirt with tights that have the feet part and flats. The thing that oddly bothers me the most is that the tights bunch up around where the opening of the shoe is... *shudder*

Thanks for all the compliments by the way! :manyheart

Ugh! I only got ONE market bag done [but it came out well in the pink ombre] and One beanie hat done using some leftover yarn from the recent prayer shawl project.

I was wonderfully unproductive over easter weekend. I had my wedding afghan with me but I didn't work on it at all. I don't usually get much done when I go home. But I'm afraid I won't get this done by next wednesday.

My cut away cardi hasn't been touched in a while either. Luckily this one doesn't have a deadline. Nor do the others really.

I'm gonna keep on going though.. as much as I can.

Soo... how is everyone doing on their current project??

I'm coming along, and I too, need to add something to my list. I need to add a wedding present due by the end of May...I think I'm going to do a filet crochet name banner-thingy, (great specific terminology, huh?)

Oh yes. Love the terminology. hehe.

Do you like filet crochet? I've been tempted to try it out sometime. There was a book at hobby lobby, but when I went to look a second time I couldn't find it.
