the checker board is a very neat idea!

I seen that washcloth but have not tired it. What kind of cotton do you use? I can never find such interesting colors, walmart has dull or super-brite.

I talked myself into another project....heukbukel bag, or somethink like that. I'm making it for my sis for mother's day out of that wonderful obnoxious banana berry from redheart.

I love the checkerboard and the ripple afghan. Both very nice.

I didn't get to work on anything while I was on vacation... I was too afraid to bring my crochet projects with me cause they're all a little bigger and I didn't want to have all that with me on the plane.

I did work some more on my cut away cardi though. I'm moving along slowly!

Its cool to see everyone getting stuff done! I should be working on my wedding afghan but I'm so bored with the pattern that it's hard to get motivated to do it. I am, however, almost done with my cut away cardi!! I'm working on the final strand of edging and then I just have to sew that on! I also have to find a button.

This sounds amazing. I'm joining. I need something to keep me on task with life. Ugghh. Haha.

Here's my list.

1) Finish "n-hook ripple afghan" for my cousin's wedding. **New Deadline.... two weeks! Bridge and Groom are on honeymoon**

2) Retry cowgirl tank top

3) Finish my round ripple

4) Pink & White baby blanket for charity at local hospital

5) Blue & White baby blanket for charity at local hospital

6) Beach wrap in time for summer!

7) Impromptu wrist warmers

8) Cut Away Cardi CAL

I decided to remove some items from my to-do list... just the rest of the hippo body and the mystery cal for yourself. I started that, but couldn't work up the motivation to do that right now either. Maybe I'll get to it again some other time!

Is the N hook afghan the one on here that someone made for a wedding gift? If so, could you give me a link? I want to make it for my husbands neice. I seen it a few times, but I am not sure where to find it here again. If I have just a few projects that are big can I join? I have a scarf to finish, not big but I gotta do it. And I am working on an afghan, and am contemplating starting the afghan, the ripple one. I am working on another afghan too for the thread graph afghans, single crochet, newbies and old hats. That already has a thread, so I don't know if I can include it here too. I need to make a sweater for my two grandkids for christmas, and another scarf for my sister, and an afghan for my brother. But I just want to work on the present afghans right now. How long does it take to do the n hook afghan, the ripple one?

I actually found it from crochetpatterncentral.com but it linked me to a post on this website.

For me it's been taking a while... I almost think it'd be faster with a double crochet instead of single.. though it would then be looser and a little more holely.. probably. I've gone through one set of the one pound of caron yarn.. since you use two strands of thread at a time, and I'm on the second set. I'm sure if I actually sat and focused I could get it done faster.
