Alrighty, someone is in trouble!!!:devil I am so in love:manyheart with the knitted dishcloths that I have printed out three knitted dishcloth patterns. Now this would be fine if I could knit faster than at a snails pace. And I am already knitting an afghan, (that will likely be finished sometime around 2012!) I do not have time to knit dishcloths....but I'm going to anyhow. The ones I printed out don't look hard. In my searching for patterns I found some really pretty ones that look more difficult...but I resisted. (for now!)

My sister in laws, our dd's and me are going to do a girls weekend away in May and I thought it would be ncie to make my sisters in law each a few dishcloths. I know my DHs sister loves knitted cloths, so I wills ee if I can get a few done by then.

That spiral one looks neat. I might just have to try one. I made a couple of spiral hotpads last year, they were fun.

I finished knitting another dishcloth: Baked With Love

Then I was in the mood to bake (with love) :P Okay that was really, really a bad joke. Maybe I should just stick to knitting and crocheting and baking....

Decided to crochet one this week, using up the last of the Hot Green from the week before.

Stitch used is the afghan stitch with a border sc then a row of shell (used Luster sheen for that)

Have a great week :hook

okay, I tried the spiral two times the other night and had to rip them out twice! Did not care for the round two directions and cannot make it work out evenly. Anyone else try it and have no luck/success???

I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning to get to it this week. I'm sorry to hear that it isn't working out, because I thought it looked pretty neat.

I don't know if this will help (or confuse you more?) but here is a couple of links showing a tutorial (kind of) on how to do a spiral: Interweave Crochet --scroll down a bit (this one just confused me more). This one is really easy to understand: Crochet Cabana. I kind of did a combination of both. I can't remember *how*, I would have to sit down and do it again. (I have too much going on right now, or I would.) I hope that will help, though. :hook I know it is in the 'round', but maybe it will help you 'get' it? :think

RoperGirl, I stared on that spiral dishcloth and haven't really encountered any problems. The first couple of rounds are a little confusing but once I made it past those, it has seemed pretty easy. Of course at the pattern since then I might be doing it wrong, but it looks right.....) I'm a little confused as to how it ends though, because so far all it amounts to is rows of DC worked round and round. Hopefully I can figure that out once I get that far.
