Great job! I agree with you on the 12 squares versus 16 - I made abag last month for the Purse/Tote swap and started out with 12 squares, assembled the 12 squares and then added 4 more.

I have just completed 12 4" squares to make my second H purse. I've bought a pretty fabric to line it with and have handles. Will have a chance to put it together while Hurricane IKE roars by. We're sheltered in place for few days.

 

I really like this purse and plan to make special purses in holiday colors with lining for that holiday. I've already bought yarn to make a Christmas H bag with a nice Christmas lining. Hope to do the same for Valentine's Day, St. Patricks Day, etc. I've gone crazy over this H purse.
