Anniversary Ghan!

[Crochet Buffet]

I started working on this last month, thinking it would take me until mid July to complete.

 

I broke down the number of squares (twelve 12") into weeks, doing one per week.

Well, I beat my deadline by 9 weeks!

 

Here is the result:

Each square covers the months of the year, and represents family.

From top left:

January- Emily's birthday (she loves flowers)

February - My SD's birthday

March- My SS's birthday

April - it has 4 hearts, and represents the 4 babies we've lost

May- Mother's Day (it's my square because Emily & I share a birthmonth)

June - Father's Day (it's DH's square because our anniversary is the same as his birthmonth)

July- Riley's birthday (she loves butterflies)

August - In Memory of my BIL

September - our anniversary!

October - My MIL's birthday

November - nothing happens here in November

December - Turner's Birthday (note the Harry Potter colors!)

 

I almost want to give this to him for Father's Day, and make something else for our anniversary!:think
