Simple Placemats & Potholders

A one pound cone of white and a one pound cone of sea mist (thank you Elmore-Pisgah) made these four placemats and two potholders. Using a size J hook, I held one strand from each cone together. The placemats are 42 sc's wide and 34 rows high, edged in hdc. The potholders are 18 sc's wide and 18 rows high -- two squares each, joined by a hdc edging. Peaches & Creme can be addicting!

Nice! Great minds think alike--I just finished a hotpad with that very same yarn a couple of days ago. Have you seen this awesome pattern from CPC?

I love the color and you did a fantastic job. I love the Peaches and Cream yarn. I tried it for the first time several months ago and love the way it works up and the feel.

...And what's unbelievable is that is the exact pattern I searched for and used to finish up the very last bit of cotton leftover from this project!

I just used that same color to make a pouch for all my hooks and a wash cloth! LOL Must be a pretty popular color!
