Crocheted Barbie Doll Furniture

Hi,

Here is a set of crocheted doll furniture that I did as a donation to our company's pink ribbon online auction. I got a lovely note from the winner of the furniture, who said she wanted it for her granddaughter, but ended up displaying it in her office for a while first! LOL! I didn't tell her that I kept a set of Barbie's crocheted living room furniture on the file cabinet in my cubicle for a long time! I love to crochet...

Wow!! That is a real nice looking bedroom!! What a great job you did on it too!! (A few years ago I was going to sew my oldest granddaughter some Barbie furniture--I had bought everything I needed to make the furniture--but I never got around to it!! )

It's the Sweetheart Bedroom pattern - I often see it listed on ebay.

That set of Barbie furniture is absolutely jaw dropping. Totally not what I expected to see. It's almost too pretty to play with. I hope the girl who gets it takes good care of it because it is a work of art.

 

What size hook did you use to make all that? It must be tiny with all that detail!
