Summer hat

Very pretty! It looks like it will be perfect for wearing in a hot country by the clear blue sea. Or even in a not-so-hot country nowhere near the sea. Very nice work, I love the pattern of the openwork.

Thank you for your kind words about my hat! I should say that I don't have any special pattern. First you crochet a circle, then you crochet without any increasing (I am not sure about the word - is it a crown of a hat?). And you can make any striped crochet pattern (but it shouldn't be big). You crochet the hight that you want (you always have to try it on). Then you crochet the brim - like a doily.

The secret is that when you make the last row you should use special elastic string (crochet around it), so the brim won't fall down.
