... it's a Bloody Big Bag!

I made this bag out of that plastic imitation raffia that's sold for packing, which probably makes it the cheapest item I've ever crocheted. It's very strong. Only thing is that because the material is so stiff, you can see a few ends because they were hard to weave in invisibly.

Can't remember whether I ended up with sore fingers, but I do remember that when I started out I was crocheting way too tightly for the material. As soon as I moved up a hook size and eased up on the tension, it was much better.

Oh, yeah, it's handy.

 

Only problem is, you know that law of the universe that women follow? "The bigger the bag, the more you put in it"? Well, with THIS bag, you do that and it's a trip to the chiropractor afterwards!

that's why I would do it in some kinda masculine color and make my hubby carry it. :lol

 

no seriously though it is a really cute bag, and after reading other comments it does look like a halter top.:tup
