Duffle bag

I love duffle bags - they are so easy and quick to make, and hold so much stuff. This is one I made recently, out of black and gold cord.

Is that a big granny square rolled up as the body, or something else?

Phoenix - The body of the bag is, as you said, simply a big granny square, crocheted to the circles on the last round of each circle. I always try to plan my bags so that there is no sewing involved in the construction, and only the zip and the lining need to be sewn.

Thanks for the compliments,everybody.

JCB - I make one square, and two circles. The side of the square is equal to the circumference of the circles. When working the last round of each circle, I attach it to the square by crocheting both pieces together using sc.
