Just a couple of Potholders

I had never made potholders, or anything for the kitchen. These were my first attempt.

Thanks to all for your kind words! They were fun to make. The main part of the potholder is double, so they work really well.

I made them one or two rounds smaller because I was running out of thread, and they seemed really large to me... maybe my gauge was off... I didn't check it before I started.

Great! I got something similar from my secret pal for the autumn swap.and I actually use it as a trivet for my coffee pot...and when I am not using it for that...i use it for my cup of coffee...

This pattern, worked around a un-needed CD, would make a great trivet / coaster. I hate wasteing (throwing away) those CDs. Fortunetly they don't send as many as they used to.
