Frog Backpack

I am going to make up more of these for Christmas gifts this year!

I LOVE how this turned out!!

This is a 3rd birthday gift for my neighbor girl. All 3 of my girls (yes, even the 13 yr old!) have put in an order for a backpack.

I purchased this pattern on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=38931

The instructions are super easy to follow. I had no problems at all working this guy up. She put in great instructions on how to do a zipper too.

Your bag is brilliant, if I saw that out on the street it would make my day; the face makes me smile & your work is soooooo neat.

I'm thinking that minus the straps it could also make a great pyjama case.

For this one, I used Carons simply soft.

It calls for WW yarn.

ALSO.. I didnt find this until after I striped the frog myself,..guessing on which row to change colors....

She list which row she did the color change in the pattern. The next one I do I am going to follow how she did it.

I am going to do a teddy bear for my great neice for Christmas.

(I dont think I am old enough to have a GREAT niece....am I?!?!?)
