I finished one of the pirates from Kristie's patterns. He was really easy to do and the pattern was great! Please have a look at my version of Capt Jack. He is made of sport yarn and is 7" tall. I made him a tri-corn hat and 7-league (sorta) boots. I used eyelash yarn for his hair. What do you reckon? Cute?

Here's my version of Kristie's pirate set.

For the pirate, I used a cup hook instead of a silver pipe cleaner & a twig (plentiful up here) instead of a dowel rod:

Front and side view of the parrot:

Last but not least, the treasure chest with a bit of treasure spilling out:

Kristie, the pattern were easy to follow and clearly written. I had a lot a fun making these. In fact, my dd (almost 16 years old) has laid claim to this set!

Thanks for letting me test.

fuzzbugjr: they turned out fantastic!

I am glad the directions are easy to read.

I always worry about that.

I hate finding errors in my patterns after I release them.

I need to thank all my testers.

I truly appreciate the work you do.:hug

I cant tell you how much it helps to have people test your patterns and give feedback.

I am better at designing and writting patterns now because of my testers!

Thank you all!

Kristen
