My First Completed Thread Project (doily)

I made the doily in Crochet Magazine March edition called Tiny Hearts.

 

Be gentle with me it is my first thread project ever completed, I have started others just never got so far, this one didn't take too long I started it Wednesday evening, of course our internet service has been out since then so I had nothing else to do evenings!

Thank you all for the nice compliments, I might get addicted to thread who knows it would be great for small projects I love to switch off when I get bored or just need a break, I can also see it is a great take with me project.

I love the fact that I can complete something in such a short time, as I am older it is harder to see what I am doing, thank goodness for good magnifying glasses!

Why oh why didn't I start on thread when my eyes were younger! I will do more thread projects I made a bookmark last night from one of the patterns a member posted here I think it is called falling petals, it has a ribbon worked thru it. I had left over thread and time on my hands.
