Trying to work on Christmas Elves dresses for daughters of a friend of mine from Church I've trashed it twice now hoping 3rd times the charm.  It keeps coming out WAY TOO short.

yesterday, I sat down with ball and yarn and hook, it was slow, going but I did get a scarf started, certainly didn't want to lose that craft,  right after the scope and when they found the clots in my lung, my handwriting was that of a stroke patient, I kept two comparision papers to show the dr., I think what helped to get the writing back was I am a writer everyday puzzles, journaling random thought, I have a whole book,what a difference its made in a wks time.

Awww so very cute and lovable!  I am looking forward to trying out this pattern and lovey idea. I did buy some ponytail ties to get started. Now just looking for some stuffed animals that will fit the project.

We were without power most of the morning but I had a chance to prepost this project last week.

I'm trying to spread out the doll projects to get a better balance for all the dolls.

Tonight I don’t know if this is a  football or hockey hat. We had football on the tv and hockey on XM. I used yarn that I know was meant for knitting because of the self striping feature, but there it was! There is enough for another hat for sure.

Hey Lyn, I’ll trade you front post double crochet for foundation single crochet. I have tried that so many times. I end up with a big knot!

So….I made a 2nd hat but didn’t want to use white yarn again. So I found a leftover ball of gold. However, it wasn’t enough, so just before the ribbing, I switched to dark brown. The bit of yarn in the picture is all I have left of the partial skein I started with. Two hats, no leftovers.(except the dark brown ball)

Hi Mona, the hat is just double crochets down to the brim and then I do front post, back post to make the ribbing. Two strands with a J hook. 
I took my dad to church tonight and since the weather is nice, I just sat in the parking lot and started another hat. I just finished it and the Bills/Chargers game is just finishing up. This is the same vanilla pattern. Really, really bad lighting. This hat is not as dark as it looks.

Thanks, Denise! I need to make the grands some hats. They are like socks--seem to just disappear. Nice colors in this one, too.
