Hope everyone had a good time last night.

We were swamped.  I ran out of chips, thank goodness I also had taffies and chocolate.  So we had over 60 kids.  Some real good costumes this year.

I am trying to turn the tree and table over today from Halloween to Thanksgiving.

Oh the tote is on the stoop waiting to be picked up and the clues are up.  This should be an easy state.

ok one more baseball game tonight up for grabs for  the World Series pennant i guess i dont know if they get a trophy or a cup or a      medal  or maybe a large glass baseball lol  or a  pennant i guess its been so equally matched that each game was exciting and suspenseful just the way i like um lol  

nothing much else to say hope we hear from Brenda and Sandra soon we miss them 

  charis your bday is this month and so are you collecting squares for a project?? do let us know ok

Mary Jo I am jealous you had trick or treaters.  We dont have them out here and many neighborhoods in the city dont have them either.

We are trying to be ok but its a real struggle.  We are just bumbling around like zombies.  This is the first time in forever not having a furry friend to care for.  Halloween was hard without the little black cat.  I brought her ashes home Mon. We feel guilty like we let her down.

Last week spent Mon and Tues picking green tomatoes, peppers,and apples because of the hard freeze on Fri.  Wed after dental appointments we left for dh's cousin's visitation and funeral----5 hours for us to get there.   We stayed with another cousin Wed and Thurs night and got home Fri evening.  Sat we had bonsai.Sun we ran errands.  Mon had some repair work done on the SUV.   Yesterday set scaffolding up and cleaned the chimney.  Trying to get our prepping for winter chores done.  Got behind as Oct was just a blur.  I also put Halloween away and got Thanksgiving out.  Meanwhile before the funeral I came down with a sinus infection thats hanging on and last night I broke a tooth so I have an appointment for a crown prep next week.  I usually find crocheting comforting but have not been able to for the last few weeks.

well hello Brenda!! good to see your post  believe me you have no reason to feel guilty about little TC  In my opinion you and dh and your vets did over and above  n trying to get her healthy again  apparently someone up there needed her and she bravely and stoically fulfilled her duty to follow and is now healthy and happy and will wait patiently for you to reunite and play chase games again perhaps   I commend your efforts  and your vets and know all possible was done  im so sorry she had to leave you so soon  but you and she will never forget one another no matter what   They take the love with them   our hearts hold them forever safe ans protected    

 on the last cd for The Rouge lawyer  has been a good story  i think i like court and lawyer stuff cause i worked for the courts and our four judges so I  have it in my blood lol  

got some pics to post i have with the three i showed before 9 altogether now ready to box as i have photo-ed them a bit ago  they will go out before Dec but that is all i have on a date right now lol  I feel good knowing they are done  and ready to mail   now i can start on some bday squares for Charis lol

other than that nothing else much on the agenda today  my book is clear lol  all for now see ya later

Still have a lot of candy left.

Went to the Dr. this morning for my 3 month check-up.  All is good, except my A1C is up and I am having trouble with my left knee.  Fro about 3 weeks now it feels like a knife is being stuck in it.  He tried to put a cortisone shot in the knee, but could not find the spot to put it in.  So with him messing with it, I am in more pain.  I am taking aspirins and Ibprophine .  I will be calling the specialist tomorrow.

The tote should be delivered tomorrow.

I hope to start some squares tomorrow.  I will have to contact you Katy to get her address.

 Hi mary jo  gee so sorry about your knee  is it swollen  i know daughter went in just yesterday as her knee was bothering her and they x rayed it and it is not a bone problem but a "soft tissue: thing so they gave ger a pill i guess is all    i dont know if it is helping yet  hope yours gets better by itself but might be a good idea to get it checked out like you are doing  im not entirely sure i have charis' addy but will check my book today and let you know if i do it might not be a current so id advise contacting her by email i guess  i know the regs are current but the ones that have been gone awhile is anyone's guess     

  well im off to find and or finish some chores see ya later all   and oh congrats tot the Astros  they played a good world  series and got the first series won ever in their 56 years of franchise!!

Liked the scarves and they  it turned out nice and will do more that way as Long as i still have some sports yarn that is ,as i wont buy any more sports at least not any time in the near future once this is used up lol just using it up is all  no more needed lol  i have had it in my stash forever as i have never really had much purpose for it but got some in a bunch of yarn i got from a garage sale or something so glad it is shrinking down quite nicely  and it makes the scarves a bit warmer i tthink too

Katy nice scarves.  Are they going to PRR?  I saw they have put out an urgent request for scarves hats gloves and coats. Hope daughters knee gets better.  

Mary Jo having a lot of candy left isnt going to help your A1C.  It sure doesnt help when they make it hurt worse.

Linda my sis found a cool rock.  Its painted blue, has silver snow flake stickers and says "let it go".  She kept it to show me and is going to rehide it.

Sorry missing in action. I try to get on here and check in. I figured I had some quiet Time and I would check in.

Hubby was laid off so been helping him fill out applications and he's been looking so hard.  A lot of company's are slowing down at this time of here. It's very sad and I am physically tired of struggling in many ways. So I have just been working extra hard and it seems I am being pulled in so many directions.

I can't seem to finish any projects right now for I am so exhausted. I have two I need to complete. Holidays are on top of us and of course things didn't go to as planned.

I hope all is well here.

So sorry to hear about what is going on Owlvamp.  I will keep you in my thoughts and hope things improve.

Not much going on today.  Hope to finish changing over the table, but we shall see.  Tomorrow is haircuts, so we have to color the hair today.

Cool this morning, and we are suppose to go up to 83, but no humidity, so it is not to bad.

mj so sorry about your knee thing hope it mends soon  and will await your  holiday  table too  'pineknot wow 5 rocks found!! I am amazed i guess Nebr doesnt do it lol

 its grey and chilly here today  brrr  daughters knee thing is a soft tissue thing so they  gave her pills which in turn fired up her ulcer again so is back on med for that   

 

I have keeping busy though have sorted out the things that simply dont fit me anymore and will probably donate them  i will be sorry to see some go but i swim in them it seems since jan  i have nothing tht fits me without it hanging off me so will keep the ones that arent too baggy and discard the rest to  Charity i guess 

have gone down id say 3 sizes since then        lol 

nothing on the tube today so will probably put in that movie we were gonna watch last weekend but with the world series and all never got to it   lol  other than that quiet day h ere my next chore might be now sorting through my bras and eliminating that which doesn't work anymore lol   ok well ladies till   later then   take care   oh we had no water her from 130 pm till last night about 830  something to do with a faulty stop box?? i think  no warning at all just boom doing a few dishes and water went off  my poor neighbor had it worse as she was in the middle of a shower lol  came back like i said but 7 or 8 hours later  i swear you could hear a million toilets flush at once lol  all for now hope all is well

Had a shopping day with niece and sister.  We had coupons for several places.  We also stopped at a craft show and had lunch.  It was productive as we found some things for Christmas presents and niece and I found some inexpensive tops. Got a late start.because somehow dh and I overslept this morning.  Thought I was getting over the sinus infection but no its trying to move down into my lungs.

I have been in a funk and cleaning. It's time for me to rid stuff and that's just what I am doing.  Plus going through to see what I can make for Christmas. No job no spend so I need to get creative.

Im getting a care package ready for a friend in Tampa, Florida that's in the hospital. I want to cheer her up. So I have here a few adult coloring books and trying to figure what else to put in it for her.

oh poor bgs are you taking some antibiotics  for that??  im due for a flu shot and maybe a pneumonia shot if t  dr advises one late this month and handy needs to get a flu shot as i think he is up to snuff on the pneumonia shot as it seems if you have one for two years in a row you dont have to have anymore  so i dont know i will ask the dr. about that  when im see him

I'm also going to look online for somewhere in town that might check our water quality as sine the water was shut off our water looks cloudy even still today and i dont want  it to turn into another Flint if you know what  i mean   might be temporary might not be we will see   i think when handy goes up and gets popcorn we will put in that movie today  nothing much else to do cept strip the bed and the washer can wash without me watching it lol  and i have clean set to put on so   

did a few dishes earlier and the kitchen is all clean  i might quirk steam mop the main bath around the toilet but not picking up that big throw rug again lol hope your sinus' bgs and mary jo's knee heal soon and what a nice thing for you to do Sandra for your friend  everyone take care now and ill catch ya all a bit later perhaps
