I made two sets of coasters and four plastic utensil holders or a flower "vase"? LOL, to "dress-up" our tables for  cookouts tomorrow. One set of coasters & two containers I shipped last week to my daughter. I am keeping the other set for me:).

HAPPY 4- JULY EVERYONE! :)

Oh, how festive!

In my family, we have a bunch of celebrations in a row where accessories like these would be great at all the Bar-B-Q's. First, one of my nephews has his birthday, the next weekend one of my Aunts has her birthday, the following weekend is the 4th of July holiday, then my best girlfriend has her birthday.

Bright coasters and plastic ware holders would be perfect for these occasions. I could make some and surprise my sister at the next Bar-B-Q! (Most of the cook-outs are at her place.)

Thank you very much:)

Those are very easy to make and they can be used all summer long. If you would need here is a link to pattern for those plastic utensil holders: http://www.petalstopicots.com/2014/06/patriotic-mason-jar-utensil-holder-crochet-pattern/. I just made up those coasters patterns.

BIG THANKS to all of you! :)

My only "complain" was when I was making that it was that navy blue color yarn. It is just too dark, from couple feet away it looks almost black. Even that so called "Bright Navy Blue" it is not bright at all.I used Peaches & Cream cotton yarn.
