Christmas Gift for Niece

My SIL mentioned my niece needed a purse for her LaLaLoopsy dolls. So, I used the Granny Stripe Boutique Bag pattern, added a few rows for height, and lined it. I'm very proud of this little bag and have now decided to make several more and line them also! I sewed directly over the yarn and fabric, but placed a piece of wax paper between the foot of the machine and the yarn so it wouldn't snag. (Saw that tip here on the 'Ville somewhere a couple of years ago...)

Love it! I made one for Christmas too, but I like yours much better and I love that you added to the length! Thanks for mentioning the wax paper trick. I hadn't heard that one but I'm willing to try! I sewed my liner in by hand. Sewing machines and I don't get along!
