it took less than 1 skein of the woolease and just about 1 1/2 hour----- i'm thinking aboutthe matching scarf..... we'll see how the time factor goes.

I have a question. The yarn you used in the hat was wool ease. What is the weight/thickness of the yarn? Is it like worsted weight or chunky? I am not familiar with Wool Ease. Thanks

I really like the cap. I was describing it to my husband who is British and he said it is called a flat cap. I am never very good at describing things (and he is away so we only talk on the phone) and I was saying there was this english style hat pattern.....but it' like describing french fries to a french person and he didn't know what type of hat an "english style" one was. Yet another cultural hurdle passed:p . You wouldn't believe the differences despite speaking the same language.
